The Samsung’s Galaxy S8 flagship may have been continuing almost a year ago, however, yet it is also seen that the Korean company will continue new features for it today. The latest update brings a super slow motion mode and AR emojis to the s8’s camera. The main feature is the Super Slow Motion Mode, which was already on the phone at 240 FPS, though it now goes up to 480 fps. The resolution already stays at 720p with recording option at the same time or 0.2 or 0.4. The new Galaxy S9, S9 + and Note 9 take a step up with all the 960 fps frame rates, though they come up with a lot of better hardware.
Here’s another big feature AR emojis, which is an alternative to Apple animation. The feature takes 3D scans of your facial features and tracks your movements to create an animated version of your face.
However, all Galaxy S8, S8 Plus users can go to their settings application to get the new feature.
So far the European Exynos models have seen getting update and maximum of 553 MB with the size of the OTA. Meanwhile, it has been mentioned that at least one Sprint unit has been updated in the United States.
No one knows when the update will end up in other countries and carriers. It’s great for Samsung to add new features to old flagship devices.
